Looking around for the perfect home should be easy if you know what you want, according to The Sorting House. If you’re wondering whether to go for a condo or not, there are a few things you should consider!

Why Choose a Condo?

  1. It’s cheaper than landed property. Considering the popularity of the Tiny House Movement, it’s not a surprise that a lot of home buyers are trading sprawling mansions—and the astronomical mortgage that comes with them—for condos. If you want to own property but don’t have enough funds for a landed house, a condo is a good investment, says US News.
  2. Condos come with amenities. Most Midtown West Luxury Condos often come with plenty of amenities to keep the residents happy. Want to go for a morning swim? Head over to the rooftop pool. Maybe you want some pampering and relaxation? Onsite spa facilities make that possible. Want to stay in shape? Hit the basement gym for an hour or two to get yourself back in shape. With so many things to look forward to, those who live in condos love the idea of having everything they need within easy reach.
  3. The security is better. Often, buying a home instead a village won’t guarantee 24/7 security, especially if the community is quite large. You’ve got plenty of miles, to cover after all so even the most vigilant security details won’t be able to set aside more than a few minutes to watch over each home. In condominium buildings, security is tighter. You won’t be able to get past the reception area without identification. Entry points are limited so it’s easy for the building management to track any breach in their security.
  4. Vacation homes are more doable. Since condos are a whole lot less pricey than landed properties, many home buyers are well able to afford a second, vacation home, says Investopedia. So if you’ve always had a yen to live in places where there’s sunshine and warm tropical weather every year, this is a good reason to go for a condo. You can rent it out when you aren’t using the place for some rental income or just have it ready for whenever you and your family get the urge to come down for a visit or take a break from the city.
